Reality Choice Theory

We experience happiness when we are masters of our fate and choose the course of our life. That is, people who can choose what is important in their life and take responsibility for their behaviors are happy. As long as we have consciousness, we can be responsible, be masters of our life, and have the power to change our life. Our behaviors are conducted to satisfy one or more desires of survival, love and affiliation, power and achievement, freedom, and happiness and joy. When satisfying our desires without interfering in others’ desires, we can lead happy and healthy lives. Unlike External Control Theory that argues that external stimulation determines behaviors for good relationships and world, our curriculum focuses on Internal Control Theory. The curriculum excludes the seven relationship-harming habits of criticizing, censuring, complaining, nagging, threatening, punishing, and bribing, and instead encourages seven good relationship-building habits of supporting, encouraging, listening, accepting, trusting, respecting, and negotiating.

Quality School Curriculum

1) Students acquire the skill to efficiently select behaviors that can satisfy their desires and others’ desires, in addition to evaluating them.
This helps them increase their sense of self-control.

2) Teachers learn to manage students to achieve high levels of academic success and operate classrooms in which everyone is participated without being excluded.

3) Administrators learn to effectively provide educational administration service and personnel management in support of quality education.
